A friend's wife came to me and said, "I need help managing his cars. He doesn't even know how many he has!"

If this sounds familiar—whether you're the collector or the spouse who suddenly became the default collection manager—we're here for you.

As collectors ourselves, we understand that once you have four, five, six, sixty, or a hundred cars, it's hard to keep all the information straight. When are registrations and inspections due? Which car needs new tires this year? When did I last put a battery in the Packard? How many years before the engine-out service on the F355? These questions brew in the back corners of our minds. Wouldn't it be nice if there was a system that could keep track of all the car data so we could have both our fun and our sanity?

We asked that question too.

We looked around. Everyone has a spreadsheet. Maybe a Google Sheet. Maybe it's all in their head, or scribbled in a notebook. We know records matter when it's time to sell, so we do our best to keep it all together—but it can easily get away from even the most organized among us.

We wanted a better way.

Our first tenet: make it easier, not harder. We approached the problem with a dose of classic car appreciation, some software talent, a usability mentality, and a need to organize data. The magic of software allows our system to track upcoming dates and alert you to things that need attention. But it also has to be smart enough to know that some cars are going to stay on those 80-year-old tires forever because they're original and irreplaceable. We built a solution for classic car nuts like us—and we wanted it to work for regular people too.

Every car in your garage gets a unique QR code. Put it somewhere visible on the car or tuck it in the glove box. Scan the code and you'll get easy access to all the data for that car—and all your others if you wish. When you join the Pro Plan, we'll send you a custom keychain with your first car's QR code.

If you choose to display the QR code visibly on the car, you can also choose whether to share your car's story with anyone who scans it—and control exactly what information they see. It's a way to give fellow enthusiasts a deeper appreciation of your unique car and its history. We love sharing the passion for cars, and we hope you do too.

Coming soon: Give your shop special access so they can scan the code and enter maintenance and repair info directly—making it easier for you to know what was done and when.

We invite you to try it free for one car for six months using code WELCOMES6. Once you see how much easier life is with CarCollectorz, add more cars with our Pro plan—and relax a bit, knowing you have a project manager looking out for your automotive passion.
